Mid river - almost

Woke to sunshine.  Thought I'd get the hound out for an early morning walk.  I put on his warm coat and as I was putting on my shoes he went to his bed.  Calling him elicited a grumble growl so I left him.  I think he got cold in the night.   I gave him breakfast and headed to town for supplies.

It was good to get back on my bike after almost a week.  Stocked up on fruit and vegetables and supermarket items.  Also bought two boxes of five lateral flow tests.  One for Mr and one to store in the cupboard. They don't expire until October 2025.  Hopefully they  will still work for new variants.  Fingers crossed they won't need to be used.

The river level was high and fast flowing.  The moored boats were further from the submerged bank.  This is nothing compared to parts of the country with severe flooding. 

Back home the hound wanted his walk.  Made chickpea and vegetable pasta sauce after lunch and took hound for second walk in glorious sunshine.
