Rainy Rhyl
FRIDAY
I spent an hour in the garden, cutting back some overgrown plants and completely filled one of the green garden waste bins.
Early afternoon we headed over to Rhyl. I had a coffee and some lunch at the 1861 Terrace Bar, followed by a walk along the seafront. The weather had been pleasantly sunny, so I didn’t bother bringing a coat. However, this massive cloud appeared out of nowhere and gave me a drenching.
Back home, I just about managed to cut both lawns. Having applied autumn feed a few days ago, combined with recent rain, the grass was growing wild.
Just as we were settling in for the evening, Prue received a message that her mum had been taken to the hospital by emergency ambulance. This led to a couple of unscheduled trips to the A&E department, and we didn’t get back home until around 1:00 am.
