In Fife with my Brother Busboy

Back blip

Packed up in the morning and Bb had an online meeting at 7am.

Visited my mum-in-law Jean and she’d been moved into a small ward by herself as there had been too much noise in the bigger ward during the night and she’d had a disturbed night. She was tired from not having a good night’s sleep but otherwise fine, no oxygen needed and her levels were good. She enjoyed some peaches in juice that we’d taken in and they were deemed a success. Sad to have to leave her, but grateful that she’s recovering well. See Barrioboy’s journal today for one of him and his mum.

Then drove over to Fife, about a two and a half hour drive, to visit my brother busboy. Lovely to see him and catch up, despite our visit being short. We had a Scotch pie, coffee and biscuits and a wee walk round his barrio.

Then drive to Edinburgh and to our friend Dot’s to return her car (kindly lent to us when we arrived) and spend the night there, as our flight is from Edinburgh. Dinner at a local Italian restaurant, walkable from her house.
