CAN YOU BELIEVE - IT'S SILLY SATURDAY AGAIN!

Hello Lovely Blippers,

We were so excited when we woke up this morning to see the sun was shining and even more excited when we heard the HCBs chatting about going out and doing some work in the garden.  You know they have quite a large garden, so we immediately thought that we could help them - well you know we like to be kind and we guessed that Mrs. HCB especially might need some help.  You can see that at last she has put on her flowery wellies - we kept telling her that she should be wearing them in the garden, but she said it wasn’t wet enough - well today, the grass was very wet so we’re glad she wore them.

She started off by doing some dead-heading - but we made sure we kept out of the way, as we didn’t want to find that our heads were chopped off - now that would have been silly and I think dear Admirer would not have giggled, but would have been horrified to see our heads rolling around on the ground because those secateurs are very sharp!

We knew that the HCBs had bought lots of plants when they went to the Garden Centre this week, so some of us jumped into them while Mr and Mrs HCB were chatting about where they would be planted - and of course, PC Plod kept a careful eye on us to make sure we didn’t damage any of them.

Before he planted up the pots, Mr. HCB had to take out all the geraniums that he had grown from seed, because he said he wants to “over-winter” them and use them again next year, so you can see the rest of us helping him out - but he is keeping a careful eye on us!

We know the HCBs worked hard in the garden this morning and then Mrs. HCB took some flowers from the garden round to a lady who comes into the Community Fridge, and who is a keen gardener, so they have had a very busy morning.  They did sit out in the garden to have their coffee, in mugs bought for them by their Blip friend, Amanda_T when they were away together - with very appropriate quotes on both.  Mr. HCB is watching a football match at the moment and we think that Mrs. HCB may have a little nap this afternoon!

We know we tell you this every week, but just in case you forget - ALWAYS BE KIND because, as we say, you never know what someone else is going through and you may be the very one who lifts their spirits.
