RIP to Dame Maggie Smith - one of the UK's finest actresses.  So sad to hear the news of her passing.  She was amazing in whatever role she played. One of my favourites.  I first noticed her many years ago in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie and  have gone on to admire her work ever since. 

A trip into town this morning for some bits and pieces.  Hubby went and did some shopping, Garron went to get some stamps  from the Post Office before they go up, then into Daisy Roots (our fabulous second-hand bookshop) whilst I walked through our ornamental gardens to do some photography.  We all met up for our usual Saturday morning Brunch and coffee.

We then just came home.  I'm trying to sort out some lone tree, or at least some tree shots for LetsDo52, Hubby's gone up the allotment and Garron is listening to some Doctor Who Classic audio.
