Shrimp Plant…

… Looking very happy on the windowsill.
I’ve never seen it do so well and we’ve kept at least one going for decades.

Windows? Looking a tad more neglected :-/
(You can’t get the Staff).

I’m still on a massive Spring Autumn Clean. Feeling quite self-satisfied to be much tidier.
And, very guilty for having thrown so much away. (In my defence I bought quite a lot of dried food during lockdown. Most of it had poor ‘best before’ dates anyway.
I’m not too fussy about that kind of thing, if it looks ok we’ll eat it. But, I have been caught out with ‘tired’ rice before now).
The cupboards are now spruce and the new regime is ‘only buy as you need it’.

I was thinking about why I tend to have full cupboards.. I come from a family who were grocers. (My name is not Thatcher!) but, I do recall, as a child, being annoyed at having a wardrobe full of sugar. (!) Maybe hoarding is in the genes?

Happy Saturday!
(Especially to those managing to have a much deserved break from the usual routine).
