Ivy Under Sunshine And Blue Skies

A beautiful day and the ivy bush was buzzing at last. Lovely to see a comma and a red admiral visiting. (Extras)

I've never seen the beautiful fly in extras before. I haven't been able to identify it. I love its bronze thorax, silver between its eyes and bluish abdomen. 

PS Thanks to Technophobe and Siri I now know that the fly is Chrysogaster solstitialis, the dark-winged Chrysogaster. It's found in damp places. Must have been happy recently with all the rain we've had.
