Sundowners
A few weeks ago Elaine and l decided to book to see the live performance of celebrating the 25th year of Miss Saigon shown at Ilkley Cinema today. We realised that between us we had seen it over ten times, twice together, once in London when it first opened and later in Bradford. I saw the revised version in London with Mr P and always thought it better than the original.
The performance this afternoon was the best we had seen and we both marvelled at how we enjoyed this cinema showing as opposed to a live event. So from having low expectations we were literally blown away.
Earlier we had a good walk in the lovely sunshine and had sat in my conservatory basking in the late summer sunshine.
I got an extra wash dried and moved all my potted geraniums to some shelter as last night the temperature fell to near freezing.
My sunflowers have had it for this year.
Going to the cinema meant l had missed a lot of Strictly ( had forgotten it would be on when l did the booking) so l’ve just finished watching it on catchup. Great show, lots of talent this year. Obviously couldn’t vote. Paul and Toyah in the bottom two but l think Paul’s fans will save him from the dance off.
