DAY 3 IN GREECE~BEACH DAY

Slow start after yesterday’s full on day.
#Jan was on breakfast duty…delicious scrambled eggs and fresh tomatoes.
(The fridge had a good selection of breakfast stuff as part of the rental )
#Then some visitors arrived…my “Greek son” (his wife and youngest boy). It was his birthday yesterday and I’d got him a gift. He bought us homemade cheese pie and wine.
#He then drove me and the beach bags down to the new posh beach resort. J & E walked down.
As Thanos knew the girl on the door we got in as seniors (65!!! Poor E isn’t even 60)…€5 instead of €10 Then did a deal for the sunbeds as we only wanted a set and a half! So €30 instead of €40. saved €25
#Great views.
#Even better with a beer or 2.
#Hugging the shade, reading, snoozing, snacking and swimming was on the agenda for the day.
Usually we go back to our hotel/apartment to shower and dress up but we decided to eat on route home.
#tasty gyros and souvlakis was our choice tonight. We ordered far too much and struggled to eat it all. Great wine at £1 a glass.
We got back about 8ish and chatted for a couple of hours before bedtime.
