PC
Today I worked until 10:30, when I heard from A that she'd arrived at Edinburgh Airport from Glasgow, where she's been at a conference. She's off to Cyprus for a fortnight with friends, and the plan had been for me to come to the airport to see her off and bring back the car. However, there was plenty of time, so she came home, greatly simplifying my day.
After she'd left and I'd had lunch, I drove into Edinburgh with the rather good mini PC that И had bought before we discovered that we couldn't claim on expenses. Hence I paid her for it and, now that she doesn't need it, she passed it on to me in Berlin, to give to daughter K. However, I stopped off in my office to get some cables that I might need. Even driving to South Edinburgh was slow - on a Sunday afternoon! - and it then got slower as I made my way to K's flat!
After setting up the PC and having a chat, I put Django into the car, and thought of what might be the least bad route back home! Turf inspired me to take the shortest route to the ring road, as it allowed me to take another Monument zone. And, wow! I'd never seen this before. The "Craigentinny Marbles" is the mausoleum of William Henry Miller (1789-1848) which towers over the sea of 1930's bungalows that now surround it. Django seemed to appreciate walking a bit further, and then I drove home.
I think Erik ten Hag's time is up at United, although it's a good question who might get this potentially good squad to play as a team.
