Bored

Needing results for an important meeting tomorrow evening, I worked hard today once I'd walked Django in the steady rain. Thanks to test problems from one of the power engineers who will also be at the meeting, I got some numbers and analysis that I hope will help the bigwig attending the meeting realise that we're not so shabby and know where we're going in developing this solver. It doesn't help that said bigwig didn't know anything about optimization solvers.

I did get a break when I bought groceries, in particular Kermit's usual food, which ran out yesterday lunchtime. I tried to explain that he could always eat dry food, or go out and kill something - not that he's done that for years - but he was impressed.

With me working in the attic, where Django can't go, he was totally bored. Here he's knocking Piggy down the stairs to chase after him.

This evening's dog walk was dark, but dry.
