An t-ochdamh latha

After all yesterday's driving our legs were in need of stretching so we meandered around Cherbourg before and after lunch. I really enjoyed being beside water and exploring somewhere new. 

We then relaxed in our room which looks down on one of the quays. I made a start on this week's Gaelic homework (having missed last week's class) and needle felted a little fox. 

We decided to eat in the hotel tonight and enjoyed the three course fixed priced menu- tasty and filling.

We will have time for further exploring tomorrow before starting the next leg of our trip.
