Testing….

Merlin’s new bed has arrived so we put it down in the kitchen so he could investigate it. He immediately liked the soft cover and laid down and rested on the bed for quite some time. We think it has his approval.

It’s been another dry day so I managed a couple of hours tidying at the allotment. My aim was to improve the mix of ‘greens and browns’ in my compost bins. I’m hoping I’ve now done that and the process of decomposition will speed up. Composting is strangely addictive - I think it is the challenge of nurturing a live ‘thing’ to make something useful from waste materials.
