Trees in Fairmilehead Park
Very cold in the morning now, so the heating is put on for 1/2 hour to warm the house up to comfortable before we get up. A wee daunder after breakfast to ease the stiffness in the hip. Then back to the park after the football camp has decamped to get the weekly photo of the trees. The three small trees in the foreground have lost some leaves. The leaves on the bigger trees are now starting to yellow.
After lunch, we go walk to get weekend groceries. What is quite apparent is just how warm it gets as we descend. This is why, on Saturday, we walk down to get groceries and get the bus home. The supermarket is about 72m lower in altitude than our home. The house is 150m ASL and on a north facing slope. The supermarket is 77m ASL and on a south facing slope, and in a more build up area.
After getting the bus home, partner and I go for a wee walk around the park before coffee. After coffee, photo editing.
After tea, a quiet evening watching Strictly, Weakest Link, The Voice and the next episode of Rebus.
