Canal by night
MrM persuaded me to accompany him to the Irish music session at Hebden Bridge this evening with the promise of a walk by the canal and a nice meal first.
So we set off for Hebden mid-afternoon and had a very pleasant walk towards Todmorden on the canal tow path. On the way back we stopped at the Stubbing Wharf pub for a meal. The food was delicious, and I daresay we'll go back there before too long.
On the way back to the van we passed the Tadpole - she and the neighbouring boat, Passing Strangers - are very well lit at night.
