Backblipped Monday 30th

A busy day getting organised to head up to our son and daughter in law’s new house after Miss PHL finished work. Took Phin for a walk in the morning and got packed after lunch. A quick stop to drop off some Vinted parcels and pick up some flowers and we were only 10 minutes later than planned to collect K.

It was a lovely drive after we got out of Edinburgh and over the Queensferry crossing and it was lovely to see the sunshine on the fields as we drove through Perthshire.

We were completely wowed by their new house. It’s an old school house which lay derelict for many years before being bought by a couple who planned to develop it and live there for a few years. However after finishing the house (and it’s gorgeous) they decided to move on which was when M and A spotted it in the papers. It’s everything they planned to do to their previous house so they went for it.

We had a quick walk with the dogs before a homemade chicken curry for dinner. It was lovely to catch up as it’s been a wee while since we’ve all managed to get together.
