Blue Geranium

Today was a busy one and I spent most of my spare time throwing tea bowls for the impending wedding. I love the delicacy of this little geranium and it's flowers. It is quite different than the ones I remember from childhood. My mother loved geraniums. The ones I remember were pink, red or white and had thick fat leaves that were either waxy or hairy. This one is totally different. My mother would have loved it. Blue was her favorite color.

Today, I am grateful for the day I was given, sweet clay for throwing, muscle memory in my hands and arms, and remembering how to center and throw.
