Alpacas can be quite wonderful creatures. This one attached herself to us like some long lost relative. It didn't spit on us once. On the contrary, it seemed to be silently chortling away on some private joke the whole time we were there. I could hear the thought waves. "Oh goodee, someone's going to take my picture. How do I look?"
