Margaret

One of the best things about Blackheath is the way that so many people pitch in to sustain community activities. This town is a place for flower displays, choral festivals, art shows, revue theatre, jazz concerts, musical recitals, photographic exhibitions, philosophy fora and heaven only knows what else.

Such events entirely depend upon the people who make them happen every year. Margaret is one such hard working stalwart of community endeavour and someone who it is impossible not to like. I ran into her today at a mutual friend's book launch.
