Hebden Bridge

Travelled down to Yorkshire with my Mum for a couple of days. She is from. Todmorden and started working as a trainee pharmacist in Hebden Bridge after she finished school in the 1950s. We left the M6 a soon as we could and drove on quiet roads across the moors to Hebden Bridge in beautiful weather.

Hebden Bridge is a lovely bustling little Town. Lots of tourists outside enjoying the sunshine in cafes and pubs. Mum can only walk short distances but we looked at the shops and walked to the canal. While she rested I did a run along the canal. Enjoyable dinner and reminiscing in the White Lion.
