A House Called Florence
Today's shot was again taken in Loose village where I had my usual stop off before I had to go and collect my brother from his appointment. It's a slightly wonky image as I really had to lean back to fit it all in the frame before I ended up tripping over someone's garden wall on the opposite side of the road!
It's a traditional weatherboarding timber framed Kentish Grade II listed house and dates to as far back as 1450. It was formerly a house and a shop but it is now two separate homes - Florence House on the right and Florence Cottage on the left. I just loved how the white weatherboarding and picket fence gleamed in the sun and were really striking against the blue sky.
