Day tripper

Today, I joined, together with my neighbour Lucy, the local tour company's day trip to Ikea in Izmir. This meant being up at 8am which hurt - but worth it. Armed with a list of items that I've been waiting for the opportunity to buy, the trip was a success as I got (almost) all of them and I even had an ice cream before the journey home -  so a 'real proper' day tripper I was !! It was also my first group excursion here on a bus full of old(er) folks where I fitted right in! 

hmm. 

Back by 6pm, and hour later Rufus and I walked to Pasa restaurant to have dinner with all the usual suspects (neighbour friends from Fevzipasa) plus some extras - so that there were fourteen of us in all - most, but not all of whom, were old(er) folks too.
