Hydrangea

We had Bill Henderson, our locum minister, give us a talk today at the Circle, on lighthouses.  Bill had just come back from a holiday in Shetland and told us a bit about that, and was most interesting.

Had the sad news that a walking friend has just lost her husband.  Mary's husband had pancreatic cancer, such a terrible disease, and he will be sadly missed.  He was a great gardener, and I always enjoy walking past their garden on the other end of our lane.  

Bob has been doing some wall painting today, I was glad to be out!

The hydrangea bush is deteriorating but I still love the big heads, even although they have lost the colour and are faded now!
