Clifton Suspension Bridge

We took granddaughter Amelia to school for 9am and then continued on our way to the outskirts of Bristol (England UK) to meet up with our friends Steve and Julia to do a cycle ride.

We cycled into the city centre along the Avon Gorge up to Clifton where we enjoyed a coffee sat outside at The Observatory that overlooks Clifton Suspension Bridge  (1864 AD) over the Avon Gorge. I took the statutory tourist snap of it even though I've loads - it's such an amazing bridge.

On the way back to the car near Castle Park, Bristol,  I spotted the couple having their photo' taken. One presumes they've got married? (see extra) Our total mileage was 22 miles.

Cardiff City FC play Millwall tonight looking for our first win after seven games. Even a win won't get us of the bottom of the league table but it's a start!  Say a prayer.
