Turloughs and Limestone Hills

It was hard to leave our Island paradise but the scenery of the Burren is quite extraordinary. We climbed to the top of Mullaghmore and it was so beautiful looking out across this unique landscape of Turloughs and stony hills and cliffs. The carpets of wild flowers were wonderful, harebells, orchids, geraniums and rock roses to name but a few. We are staying in Kinvara now at a friends B&B, great hospitality and wonderful breakfasts to get us of to a good start for the day! The day finished with a walk into town where we found some trad music at Connollys, one of many pubs in the town with live music.
