Ketchikan Lumberjacks

We survived the apocalypse!  After a rough day at sea yesterday, we had to skip our scheduled port of call, and head for Ketchikan instead, where there was a safer harbour.

We arrived here early this morning, and were treated to a very entertaining and exciting Lumberjack show, featuring some amazingly talented and fit young men wielding terrifying-looking chainsaws and other deadly logging equipment.

Here are two of the guys log rolling -- they were incredibly nimble-footed!  (The man in the red plaid shirt ended up falling in to the water.)

It's chilly and rainy, but at least we are not heaving and rolling on the storm-tossed sea today!
