Last day being a none-year-old

Where has this last year gone? Here is a family pic with Maple on the eve of her 1st birthday. We had a naming ceremony for her today in Papamoa with family and it was surreal to think that she is one tomorrow and that two years ago we did the same for Oscar and Bailee.

It was a wonderful day with a lovely ceremony where we lit a candle and released balloons. Kristin, Becky, Joanne and Christine did a reading. Maple was an angel the whole time. She socialised well with everyone and was full of giggles and wriggles for the ceremony. Oscar and Bailee had a fantastic day too. They played with their cousins and enjoyed the food! They were a teeny bit put out the day wasn't all about them, but I am proud of how calm and content they were as it was a long day.

I'm feeling a little bit sad right now thinking about how fast the time is going. My baby girl is one tomorrow. Tomorrow we had only been in Dubai two days before she arrived. She is certainly an adorable and very loved part of our family. Sleep well baby girl.
