Finally, the day for Arnie to have his cataract removed has arrived, so we were up with the sparrows and on our way.

The Eye Hospital is relatively new but what a palaver on an admission system. It was like musical chairs.

The procedure done Arnie could see a little bit as they had left some of the normal patch to allow him some sight.

He spent most of the day lying down but we had a good evening eating pizza and doing online quizzes on YouTube.

What a relief that it’s all gone well.
