Shades of Blue

I'm obsessed with how many amazing shades of blue there are....and right now i'm mostly excited by Prussian blue!  I spent a few hours painting today and yesterday using a lot of this colour.....see extra.....so when we went for a walk along the beach at Englishtown after work, it was so clear why i am so drawn to this colour....just look at that blue!  I am most excited just before the wave breaks, that intense blue/black - almost ink like colour - the patches of light and the way the light is reflected off the water!   So inspiring.

Back to the car for our picnic!   A very satisfying day altogether :)
