Well, hello!
Hibiscus on our balcony first thing.
Nice WhatsApp video call with my friend Claire here, who’s recently had an operation on her foot and so is housebound and with her foot up.
I went down the rabbit hole of Microsoft excel on YouTube in the afternoon. Not for the first time do I feel that I at least need to know the basics. This all came about because the excel sheet (provided every month) where I now need to input my quality assurance marking hours every month, didn’t work last month. I wanted to input not just full hours but sometimes 1hr 30 mins, 1hr 15, 45 mins etc. I converted those into fractions, e.g. 1.5 etc but the total box only added whole hours. I know it’s a failing on my part. I just put the total hours in manually and it’s fine and honestly doesn’t justify the hours I spent on it this afternoon. However, it bothers me that I can’t solve it. I did learn all about resizing columns and rows and lots of useful formatting tips, but that doesn’t make the sheets any more useful to me at all! I think this month I’ll just either enter my hours like last month or stick to whole hours.
Last, but certainly not least, Bb had a good meeting with the dermatologists this afternoon.
