Diary of an Edinburgher

Visitor!

I picked up Pip from his house on the way home from the Links this morning. His parents needed to go out for a while. We haven’t seen him for ages. And he made himself right at home.

Abi came round later to fetch him, and we caught up on her news, and there could be big changes afoot…

JR, after her gym visits, went into town for a few things. One thing was to pop in to the travel agent to ask about her Kiwi visa for Vietnam. They were helpful, but it turns out it’s a straightforward e-visa when we dock, but she has (will have) the paperwork ready.

I took Archie out again in the afternoon, and so achieved a reasonable step count. So I did deserve those Maltesers I requested JR bring on her way home.

I am loving our new ‘magic door’. Archie will often want out, only to stand there, just outside, in the dark, and then want to come in again. Or he might suddenly desire a two minute play with one of his toys before going back to sleep. Or, he will watch one of us going out to the kitchen, coming back in, sitting down, then he’ll decide he’d like to leave the room. Not a bother now!

Here’s Pip making himself at home!
