Woman Reading A Possession Notice. After Vermeer

Tom Hunter visited our photo society  this evening. What a privilege to hear his story and to see a wide selection of his wonderful images. 

He is the only photographer to have had a show at the National Gallery. This comprised recreations of great paintings by setting up scenes from everyday life in Hackney. He was very down to earth but has a deep understanding of how to produce a stirring and emotional image.
