Life through the lens...

By ValC

Ready for Halloween.

What a beautiful autumn day started with our usual trip to the fish van.
Then after breakfast we had a walk round a nearby village. I wanted to see the recently planted orchard, but unfortunately I was too late to see the fruit. They had already picked the apples and pears.
However they now have some vegetables plots in between the trees, and there were a few pumpkins which no doubt will be harvested later this month for Halloween.
As usual we had a walk round some if MrC’s old haunts as he was brought up in the village.

After lunch we walked to the doctor’s surgery to have our Covid jabs.
We have chosen to have our flu jabs later.

Then some more tidying up in the garden as the brown bin was emptied this morning.

We were delighted to see on our local news that Rose the little terrier had been successfully rescued today after being trapped for seven days in deep rock underground.
How nice to have some good news for a change.
