Living in Akbuk
I was invited next door to have morning coffee with Lucy and Sharon. Conversation topics made it all feel a bit like a scene from Neighbours ....
Really warm and lovely weather, I was just going to have some pool time when Hakan showed up to start work on the garden. (I wasn't expecting him until tomorrow). Some of the crazy paving is being removed and replaced with gravel for winter rain drainage, and I'm going to plant three fruit trees for delicious privacy. Not being able to swim and the intrusive noise from drilling made me grumpy so early evening Rufus and I went for a leisurely stroll along the sea front to watch the sunset. One of the (large) power packed street dogs was very interested in my handbag, where lo and behold, I produced some doggy treats. Initially a bit intimidating, just from her size, she was so gentle and calm - such a shame that this magnificent generally healthy dog has no human home. There are so many street dogs here - Rufus was lucky.
Back home tried making lentil and cheese bake. It was ok, but by the time it was cooked, I didn't want to eat it anymore. Netflix and crochet filled what was left.
