Sweet little harvest

Drove over to A&N’s mid morning and A and I had bacon rolls and coffee whilst we caught up with each other…seems ages since I’ve been over. We looked around the garden, looked at her sweet peas still flowering and her continuing crop of beans whilst we talked over her plans for the work they’re having done there in a couple of weeks. We collected the latest crop of raspberries and tiny wild strawberries and wolfed them down back in the kitchen.
N came home from work for lunch and it was good to hear how he’s getting on in his new job (loves it!) and we did some planning for future weekends.
Once he went back, A and I took some tea to the sofa and chatted on until it was time for her to go to the dentist, then I came home and did some cleaning and had supper.
Another weirdly quiet, lazy and introspective day. I’ve probably had rather too many of these recently….
