On the way home

On Tuesday, CalMac had advised that the MV Isle of Mull ferry was going to be redirected to provide a service between Mallaig and Lochboisdale for several days from 3rd October, resulting in the cancellation of some sailings and one of the affected sailings was the one on which we were booked. However, we were fortunate to be allocated a revised booking on the Loch Frisa, just an hour later than our original booking on the Isle of Mull. This meant that we made a leisurely start to the day and stopped a couple of times on the way, once for lunch at the Real Food Cafe in Tyndrum and once to have a walk with Bertie along the River Lochy. It was during our walk that I took this blip. Later, there was time to do some shopping in Oban before joining the ferry queue on the pier. I held my breath as our booking was checked, and not only until we were safely on board the boat sailing out of Oban did I relax.
