Mums the Word

I finally got to stay home the entire day. Spent the early hours catching up on correspondence. Using Mancil’s suggestion about phone camera settings, I played around and took several shots of my mum bed. I have checked them every day hoping more blooms would open. The detail seems to be sharper than usual on these petals. It will take more practice and a lot more patience. I made cranberry orange pecan cream scones - oh my. I sent the kids pictures and Mancil stopped by to collect three. He was heading to Annapolis to photograph a wedding. Jamie and Renee are also in Annapolis. It wasn’t until he got ready for bed last night that Jamie realized he’d left his suitcase home. He thought Renee put it in the car and she thought he did. We could have saved him that three hour trip home and back; Mancil could have taken it to them. I made myself work on my life story questions. I have 4+ left to be caught up. Thank goodness Renee gave me so many leftovers. It has been great just having to microwave a quick meal. It sounds like the strike has paused until next year. That’s comforting. Wishing you some good news this weekend. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Waiting for the buds to bloom, Chrysanthemums teach love needs nurture & patience.” - Priyanka
