Blennerhassett

I am in Parkersburg, West Virginia with three friends. We are staying at the historic Blennerhassett hotel in downtown. Tomorrow we take a sternwheeler boat ride to the island of the same name in the Ohio River. We will have a horse drawn carriage ride and visit the house/museum.

The hotel is very charming. Food in the restaurant here was so overpriced we went somewhere else.

Supposed to be a ghost haunting the hotel but we don’t know what floor.

Great news from Tate. He actually has power and internet at his house! Miracles happen. Still so much clean up and restoration to do. Keep the people of NC and SC in your thoughts. We passed several trucks today loaded with hay for cattle and horses as well as hauling All terrain vehicles. We met up with three trucks with Pennsylvania tags heading north. They were hauling ATVs and a few boats all covered with mud. Thankful they came down to help.
