Calm waters

I had a wonderful 3 hour walk today from home to Albert Town via the tracks around the lake. Frida and Jill joined me for one part of it, and then Frida joined me to walk down the Outlet track., which is the beginning of the Clutha River. This photo was taken near the beginning of that part of the walk.

The rain has stopped in Dunedin, our friends have safely evacuated, and another friend can now travel to visit her very ill partner who is in hospital. So a much better day today.
