Feeder Squabble

We have so many resident cardinals and they raised a big brood this year. They ten to view the feeders as theirs but they get along great with the titmice, chickadees, etc. today we had a pair of rose breasted grouse beak show up. Male is pictured . He didn’t get rowdy but his girl did. I heard her before I ever saw him! She told the cardinal in no uncertain terms that she would not be bullied! I like this girl! :—) I’d love to put her in the extras but I have only a few left.
We had a good day. Cardiac rehab eats into 3 days a week but really seems to be helping. I’m dropping a few pounds and have more stamina.
Weather is cooling down nicely.
Today would have been Mom’s 105th birthday, though she would have only claimed 101. :—) She didn’t want anyone to know her age. I miss her terribly but she loved her Jesus and I will see her again! She entered His presence in January , 2009.
