Autumn

Autumn crocus and apple picking.. a perfect combo. It’s sunny today and there are lots of bumble bees and honey bees visiting the garden.. good to see.
I have finished painting the hardware in the gate and started the process of patching up the post box I made a couple of years ago. It needed a lid repaint as there were a few crack developing and the wood is swelling underneath. So I have rubbed it down and removed the wet bits and mr S has filled the dent made. Now I think that has set so I can prime it now.
It has been a bumper year for apples with us.. super delicious!
