Dubrovnic

Got the bus from Primosten to Dubrovnic today, arriving in Dubrovnic about 5.30. My first impression of Dubrovnik old town, Stari Grad,  was that it is heaving with tourists. It's almost impossible to walk down the main street, the Stradun,  without literally bumping into people. The old town is very compact, hemmed in by city walls on steep hills on either side of the main drag, the 200m  stretch of the Stradun. The tourists are very much focused around the Stradun at night and the apartment I was staying was just off it. Today's blip is the clock tower at the east end of the Stradun.
