Bon

A mid-morning trip to the surgery in Leintwardine to get our flu and covid vaccinations. Afterwards we walked around the village which has some fascinating old buildings. On Watling Street there are several properties that, in the past, were clearly shops. This one still has the old awning mechanism under the window (top right) and advertisements for Brooke Bond 'Bon' coffee and chicory essence. I remember my parents having a bottle of this for many years. Can't remember ever seeing it used though.
