Wet Gloom

This is not a monochrome photograph! It really has been completely grey, and thoroughly wet, all day. After walking the spaniel in the local woods I have been making a start on my list of indoor winter jobs, mostly renovating some pieces of furniture that we inherited. They are dark oak which really doesn't suit our house so I'm sanding them down and will then repaint them in lighter colours.
