Life is a Challenge!

SADLY DEPLETED ON SILLY SATURDAY AND BCAM 2024

Hello Lovely Blippers,

It’s quite late - in fact it is now 7 o’clock in the evening and we apologise for the lateness of the hour!  If we tell you why, you must promise not to “spill the beans”!

Mrs HCB and some of the lovely ladies from Gorse Hill Baptist Church in a re-formed group called “Flourish” - and it’s only for ladies - and dogs and us, of course, went out for a walk round The Lawns, a local park.  It was great, the sun was shining and the three of us really enjoyed it and by the sound of it, everyone else enjoyed it too.

Before we went, we climbed one of the trees, but of course, we had to help Porlock - because he’s not really used to climbing trees, but mainly snuffling along the ground, much like Reeth!  You can see that Catrina - that’s me, was wearing a pink ribbon, Reeth, of course, being a pig, is pink too and so is Porlock, so we were picked especially for today.  Soon, Porlock will be going for his first hibernation, so we thought he should be with us.  Anyway we had a great time sitting in Mrs. HCB’s bag on her back and you can see some of the photographs taken in the collage.

Bruce, the pug was wearing a pink collar, so he had to be in the shot, the pink wellies and pink trainers had to be there too and you all know why - because if you would please CLICK this LINK, then it will enable women who cannot afford to pay to have a free mammogram.  Thank you so much - we hear you have been great Clickers so far - dear Admirer would be so proud of you all!

The last photograph is of the backs of the ladies as they were walking - Mrs. HCB didn’t ask permission to use their faces - so it has to be their backs!

It was a great morning and we could hear lots of chat and laughter, and of course, because there were three dogs in our group, lots of other dog owners chatted, which was great.

This afternoon, Mr. & Mrs HCB had both their Covid and Flu injections and I think that wiped Mrs. HCB out - she started to read, but before we all knew it, she was fast asleep and it was only 3 o’clock - and she didn’t wake until almost 7!  Just hope she won’t be up all night, having slept that long!  We're not even sure she will be awake enough to cook their meal this evening!

We can’t leave without reminding you all to BE KIND - not only because it’s a good thing to do, but because you never know how much you could be helping someone.

Hopefully, the gang will be back together again next week - it was just that Mrs. HCB couldn’t fit them all into her bag!

Love to you all from
Catrina the Cat, and of course, Reeth the Pig and Porlock the  Baby Hedgehog xxx
