Terrace Station

I had the most wonderful day. My son DIL and I went to visit this amazing place. The gardens were open and what a joy they were. The sons of this place didn’t want to go farming so it was all sold off except for a few acres and the house and all the sheds. This has been all gifted to a historic trust but the lady lives there for the rest of her life her husband has already predeceased her.  What a great lady she is so welcoming and full of information. All the sheds were full of old machinery and old cars. They had just kept building more sheds to hold all priceless vintages.
My son will definitely be going back for another look I expect with his sons in tow. She said they felt it needed to be kept for future generations to see that is why they set up the trust. What a gift to our country
After this we went to a nice cafe for lunch and then went touring through the beautiful spring countryside
