Svöðufoss waterfall

On our way to the camping site, we made several detours to look at waterfalls, my favourite pastime. This one was very difficult to reach, we had to walk through long grass and uneven muddy terrain. Finally a river stopped us, and I had to be content to take the picture from the distance. It was so cloudy, that one could not even see the Snæfellsjökull glacier in the background.
