We met up with Petra today. She had a few hours to kill while she waited for her daughter to finish her gymnastics lesson. Four hours a time, three times a week. Ugh!

Tim Horton's at Circle Mall was the meeting place. We got there but I wish I could say it was a pleasant experience. This mall is clearly well-frequented by the residents of the community it is built for. Good for them to get the leasing spot on. The anchor "stores" are businesses that provide services for children - fitness, gymnastics, music, dancing etc. It is heaving on the weekend.

We enjoyed our post-summer catch-up with Petra and went on to Festival City which is closer to where we live. Everything about it was so much calmer, and the fact that we found a parking space right outside the entrance which we use made us love it all the more.

The main purpose of coming here was for IKEA. They have a promotion for bedding and I wanted to change my mattress pad. We popped into Spinneys before finally getting home. It's been a productive afternoon and evening and I finally got G to watch a couple of Jay Smith videos on YT.
