Hours of fun

One of the drawers in our big chest is full of games. When grandson George was younger and used to come and stay there was always something to keep us amused and he and I had hours of entertainment. Next time he comes we must go through the contents and see if there is anything he would like to take home. There are grown up games, Scrabble, chess etc and many sets of playing cards but somehow I feel life has changed from those days. Maybe it will be a charity shop visit. Meanwhile I took out the tiny Enid Blyton Mary Mouse book (price 1/-) and it took me back to childhood days. I think it belonged to my children but it may even be from my own childhood.
