Yummy
Lunch was no less appetising than breakfast or last night's dinner.
No sign of the doctor this morning although I was reassured that he would do his rounds 'this morning'. Noon came and went and I was increasingly 'on the edge'........ not one to get stroppy much I kept pacing and checking when the doctor would appear. I was desperate for No.1 to be discharged. We all reasoned that they were not doing any more in hospital than she could have at the villa and I was desperate to get her out of there. Eventually after much cajoling a nice English speaking doctor said that unfortunately the oncology doctor was not in today and if we chose to go without him 'signing her off' then we would have to take the consequences. No.1 was desperate to get out of the hospital so we took the chance and signed the paperwork only for said oncology doctor to appear? When we told him that we were hiring a car to drive her home he seemed ok and gave us a print out of the treatment she had received.
Back to the villa and No.1 enjoyed an hour sitting in the sun although still really tired and me watching her like a hawk all the time, and still so nervous. I want to be back in England and feel safe again. We have lined up a hire car tomorrow and plan to leave mid afternoon for the long drive home. We initially contemplated booking an ambulance but as she has improved as the week has gone on, we feel a drive home albeit tiring will be manageable.
Get me out of here!!
